KOHLER, Wis. – April 24, 2012 – Adding to its acclaimed Artist Editions collection, Kohler debuts the Gilded Meadow pattern on the Conical Bell® Vessels bathroom sink. The pattern is also featured on complementing wall tiles, allowing customers to scale the level of design to their own space and aesthetic preferences.

Inspired by Nature's diverse ability to effortlessly combine color and pattern, Gilded Meadow is a fresh and unexpected floral design distinguished by its unique pairing of carved relief and precious metal graphic accents.

Depth of field, like that in a photograph, is captured through layers of thick vegetation and coats of light transparent glaze. Splashes of color and detail, like that in a watercolor painting, are woven throughout the composition. A free-spirited, inviting landscape emerges that is both texturally and visually appealing.

The Gilded Meadow pattern is available in two colors: Translucent Cashmere and Translucent Blue, with either gold or platinum accents. The lavatories are 16 ¼ inches in diameter and the matching tiles are 21/2-by-8 inches. The hues of both the tiles and the sinks coordinate with top bathroom tile and countertop materials, creating a cohesive look to the bathroom space.

"The hand-crafted Artist Editions products are truly pieces of art," says Nicole Wittwer, product manager of decorated products at Kohler Co. "Artist Editions patterns allows homeowners to express their own appreciation of art through their bathroom and kitchen sinks, and even toilets."

These decorated products, including bathroom sinks and faucets, toilets, tile and kitchen sinks, make it easy to create a distinctive, coordinated look. Patterns include floral, geometrics, special interest themes and architectural detailing embossed in precious metals, and are inspired by culture, fine art and nature. Kohler offers several different Artist Editions designs to inspire creativity in the bathroom or kitchen.
