KOHLER, Wis. – April 19, 2012 – The return of the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show to the Midwest and Chicago is just days away, and Kohler Co., a global leader in kitchen and bath design and technology, is in full gear, constructing its booth at McCormick Place for the opening on Tuesday, April 24. In addition to KOHLER plumbing, the booth footprint also encompasses KALLISTA plumbing, ROBERN mirrored cabinetry, and ANN SACKS tile and stone.
New Product Introductions
KOHLER Underscore VibrAcoustic Bath introduces a calming bathing experience by completely enveloping the bather in sound vibration, chromatherapy and music. Four pre-set instrumental compositions guide the bather’s mind and body into deep relaxation with a synchronized blend of music, colored light and sound vibration.
KOHLER HydroRail Shower Column transforms a standard showerhead into a customizable spa-like experience with an overhead rainhead and coordinating hand shower. Installation can normally be completed in about an hour, which helps reduce remodeling costs.
KOHLER High Efficiency Toilets, including the Cimarron toilet with AquaPiston featuring a canister valve for improved flushing performance.
KOHLER Kitchen Products –The KOHLER Vault Apron-front and ADA-compliant self-rimming stainless steel models offer a clean, contemporary design for new construction or retrofit projects. Paired with KOHLER pull-down faucets, Cruette and Bellera, homeowners can transform their kitchens from ordinary into highly functional and beautiful spaces.
In addition to KOHLER, the company’s other home products brands are also debuting new products for designers, architects and contractors.
ROBERN Compact Vanity series boasts customizable storage, built-in outlets and night light for maximum functionality in a space with a limited footprint.
ANN SACKS introduces Haveli by textile designer Neisha Crosland – handcrafted, hand-painted tiles inspired by Native American weavings, Haveli boasts six patterned artisanal terra cotta tiles in repeating, small scale geometric patterns.
KALLISTA unveils decorative vessels by internationally acclaimed designer, Michael S Smith, The round, lipped vessels gently bow out for ample basin depth yet give the appearance of being diminutive. Creamy, richly veined calacatta borghini marble and bleu de chine marble are the material choices.
In addition to getting hands-on with Kohler’s newest products, attendees can look forward to entertaining and informative presentations from the following industry celebrities:
Monica Pedersen, HGTV Design Star and host of hit TV series Designed to Sell, Bang for Your Buck and HGTV Dream Home, will serve as emcee and design maven, unveiling the VibrAcoustic bath and demonstrating how easy it is to install a KOHLER Vault self-trimming apron-front kitchen sink.
Ed Del Grande, Master plumber/contractor, GBCI LEED green associate and 30-year industry veteran, is the premier go-to guy for any contracting, plumbing, or home remodeling task. Ed gives hands-on demonstrations of the KOHLER Cimarron toilet featuring AquaPiston flushing technology, and the HydroRail shower column, as well as new advances in faucets, showering and standby generators.
DR Mixologist Darryl Robinson, one of the most talented bartenders on the New York mixology scene, invites attendees to partake in a celebration of color, sampling exotic cocktails. When Darryl isn’t concocting his creations at celebrity events, he’s hosting Drink Up on The Cooking Channel and making cocktails at the popular Hudson Bar.
