LOS ANGELES, Calif. – March 21, 2012 – Last night, some of Hollywood’s most influential talents and tastemakers from the film, interior design and fashion worlds converged at the home of founder and co-owner of Decades, Cameron Silver and his partner Jeff Snyder, to celebrate Kohler’s latest newcomer, the award-winning Numi toilet. Notable guests included Academy Award winner Marisa Tomei, "Million Dollar Decorator" reality TV star Martyn Lawrence Bullard, and top fashion stylist Elizabeth Stewart among others.

The private home of Cameron Silver and Jeff Snyder, the “Elliot House”, designed originally by legendary architect Rudolph M. Schindler and renovated by acclaimed architects Marmol Radziner, is itself also considered a design star. The event offered guests a rare opportunity to tour the home, featuring two newly installed Numi toilets.

The KOHLER Numi toilet launched last year, creating waves in the interior design industry with its advanced features, including a heated seat, foot warmer, built-in bidet and deodorizer, music and a lid that opens automatically and more. The Numi embraces an entirely new visual and technical language, approaching the design from a furniture aesthetic, to create an original toilet profile. The blend of a distinctive, pared-down vision with personal technology will impress the most technically-savvy user, yet is simple enough to use for just about any family member.

“People freaked for the Numi last night,” says Cameron Silver. “At our house, people used to gather in the kitchen at parties, but now they gather in the bathroom. I’ve been receiving a lot of interest from friends who visit my house and experience the Numi, and now want one!”

Party attendees were equally fascinated by Kohler’s new VibrAcoustic bath tub that was also present at the event and will officially be launched at the Kitchen and Bath Industry show next month in Chicago. It provided a source for the musical entertainment throughout the evening. The VibrAcoustic bath tub introduces an unheard of experience in bathing by completely enveloping you in sound vibration, chromatherapy and music. Four pre-set instrumental compositions subtly guide your mind and body into deep relaxation. This synchronized blend of music, colored light and sound vibration along with the perfect water temperature combine to create an incredible bath experience that will enhance your calm and put you into harmony with your inner self.
