How to Shop for Shower Valves and Controls

We offer six types of valves, which we’ve explained below, and your showroom representative can help you determine which type is right for your chosen shower.
Digital Transfer Valves
We offer three digital showering solutions – DTV Prompt®, DTV® and DTV II – that range from controlling two components to controlling eight components as well as steam, music and lighting. Before you choose, you’ll want to consider the number of components you’d like to combine, the number of user presets you’d prefer and whether or not your shower will include enhanced features.
Thermostatic Valves
With separate volume and temperature controls, our MasterShower® thermostatic valve – featuring an innovative shuttle design – gives you total control of your shower environment. The one-piece forged brass body is built to last and eliminates potential leak paths.
Pressure-Balancing Valves
The Rite-Temp® pressure-balancing valve lets you precisely control your water temperature – 3 degrees of handle rotation changes the temperature by 1°F. If the hot or cold water supply is interrupted, the valve will automatically reduce the water flow.
Transfer Valves
Used in conjunction with a Rite-Temp® pressure-balancing valve or with thermostatic and volume control valves, the 3-way transfer lets you choose from six different outputs with a simple turn of the handle.
Stacked Thermostatics
Our MasterShower® stacked thermostatic valve pairs volume and temperature control into one assembly, for precise control and a clean, simple design. A 104°F comfort setting and 120°F high-temperature stop limit provide safety and flexibility. The one-piece forged brass body is built to last and eliminates potential leak paths.
